The hotel will be a part of a mixed-use village to be completed in 2015
WILTON, NH – New Hampshire based hotel owner/operators, Roedel Companies, along with Riverbridge North, LLC is seeking approval to build a new Homewood Suites by Hilton in Berlin/Marlborough, MA. The joint venture partnership applied to Hilton Hotels for a Homewood Suites franchise prior to making an introductory presentation to the Berlin Planning Board on August 13th. Slated to open in 2015, the hotel will be constructed in The Riverbridge, a planned mixed-use village currently being developed by Riverbridge North, LLC.
Located behind Solomon Pond Mall, off of Route 495 at the South Berlin Rotary, the 109-room hotel will feature one-bedroom, two-bedroom and studio suites, each containing a fully furnished kitchen and full sized refrigerator. The Homewood Suites by Hilton will offer free high speed internet access, a Business Center, workout facility and pool. A daily, complimentary hot breakfast will be available to guests, while dinner and drinks will be served every weeknight to hotel customers. The development also includes a 5,000 square foot restaurant pad site adjacent to the hotel.
In addition to the Homewood Suites by Hilton, The Riverbridge will feature condominiums, apartments and senior dwellings. Approximately 70,000 square feet of the village will include neighborhood commercial establishments such as office and retail space, a restaurant, market, pharmacy, gas station/convenience store and daycare facility.
"The I-495 corridor has seen tremendous growth and development over the past few years, and The Riverbridge will serve as a hub of activity,” stated David Roedel, Partner of Roedel Companies. “The Homewood Suites by Hilton will offer another option to guests in the area with suites accommodating both short-term and long-term stays.”
Roedel Companies is bringing together an experienced group of industry professionals to construct and operate the Homewood Suites by Hilton. ROK Builders, the hotel construction affiliate of Roedel Companies, will oversee the construction project, while RGH Hospitality, the hotel management subsidiary of Roedel Companies, will run the hotel. RSJ Associates will provide interior design and procurement services.
